F150 XL and XLT
The F150 XL and XLT both come standard with the 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine. Ti-VCT means twin independent variable camshaft timing, which maximizes performance to achieve the best possible fuel economy. It provides 290 horsepower with 265 pound-feet of toque. All in all, a powerful truck that is easy on gas mileage.
The F150 XL’s EPA estimated gas mileage is 20/26 city/highway. The 4 x 2 comes standard with a fully boxed frame, independent front suspension, and trailer sway control. It is equipped with a 23-gallon fuel tank and a 6-speed transmission with tow/haul mode and sport mode. Also standard is an AM/FM stereo radio. The optional 4 x 4 XL comes with the 2.7 or 3.5 liter V6 Ecoboost or the 5.0 Ti-VCT V8 engine with a 36-gallon fuel tank and electronic 10-speed transmission. Next on the list is the F150 XLT. The price range for this Ford pickup truck starts at $34,160. The EPA estimated city/highway mileage is 20/26. Like the XL, it has a fully boxed frame, independent front suspension, trailer sway control, and a 23-gallon fuel tank. Also standard is the electronic 6-speed transmission with tow/haul, EcoSelect, snow/wet, and sport mode.
Standard interior features include AM/FM, Sync©, Sync© with AppLink and cruise control. A 2.3-inch screen allows people to see what is playing on the radio or to easily maneuver through the trucks various settings. The MyKey feature allows people to personalize their Ford truck to keep teen drivers safe. It allows parents to limit speed and audio volume. There are many optional features to choose from for the Lariat. They include quad beam LED headlamps and tail lamps. This mighty truck boasts a powerful 5.0 liter Ti-VCT V8 engine with a 26-gallon fuel tank for the SuperCrew option©. Electronic 10-speed transmission with four different modes is also standard.
For comfort, the heated, leather-trim front seats have a 10-way power driver with driver memory. Also included is temperature control, an 8-inch screen, MyKey, and cruise control, among many others. Notable with the King Ranch are the heated side mirrors, LED mirror-mounted spotlights, and step bars—all standard.
